Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 3 ripe bananas)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (such as almond or peanut butter)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt. Stir until fully combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan, pressing it down into a flat, even layer. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top if desired.
  4. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the bars appear set.
  5. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. Enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week. These bars can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
Variations: Add chopped nuts, dried fruit, or seeds for extra texture and nutrition.
Vegan-friendly: Use dairy-free chocolate chips and plant-based nut butter.
