Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 18 oz Ghirardelli brownie mix
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips, for garnish
  • graham crackers, pretzels, and fresh strawberries, for serving

  • stand mixer or hand mixer for mixing ingredients
  • Mixing Bowls for heat-treating and mixing dip

Method
 

  1. Heat-treat the brownie mix by microwaving it in a bowl for 90 seconds, whisking every 15 seconds. Allow to cool.
  2. In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add whipped topping and mix until combined.
  3. Add cooled brownie mix to the bowl and beat until incorporated.
  4. With mixer on low, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time until dip is creamy.
  5. Transfer dip to a serving bowl, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, and serve with graham crackers, pretzels, or strawberries.

Notes

* Heat-treat the brownie mix to make it safe to eat.
* If your mix has chocolate chips, sift them out and use them as garnish if preferred.
* Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours before serving.
