Ingredients

  • 1 package slider buns (9-pack Hawaiian rolls or brioche)
  • 1.5 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank's Buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (for topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • 9x9-inch baking dish or sheet pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pastry brush
  • Sharp serrated knife

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until coated evenly. Adjust heat by adding more buffalo sauce or ranch.
  3. Slice slider buns horizontally while keeping each layer connected. Place the bottom layer in the prepared pan. Spread the buffalo chicken evenly over the buns, then top with shredded cheese. Add the top buns.
  4. Stir melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush generously over the tops of the buns.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Rest sliders for 1–2 minutes, then slice into 9 portions. Serve warm.

Notes

Don’t assemble sliders ahead of time—the buns will get soggy. Assemble just before baking.
