- Spread cake mix on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 5 minutes, or microwave in 30-second intervals until the mixture reaches 165°F. Cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and whipped topping for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the cooled cake mix to the bowl and beat until well combined with no dry streaks remaining.
- Add vanilla and 5 tablespoons milk. Mix, adding additional milk as needed until reaching your preferred dip consistency.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and top with rainbow sprinkles just before serving.
Notes
Always heat-treat raw cake mix for food safety. Add sprinkles just before serving to prevent color bleeding.
