1 box Funfetti cake mix, heat-treated
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
5-7 tbsp milk, as needed for consistency

Method

Spread cake mix on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 5 minutes, or microwave in 30-second intervals until the mixture reaches 165°F. Cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and whipped topping for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add the cooled cake mix to the bowl and beat until well combined with no dry streaks remaining.
Add vanilla and 5 tablespoons milk. Mix, adding additional milk as needed until reaching your preferred dip consistency.
