  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix
  • 2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
  • 4 cups cucumbers, made into noodles or thinly sliced
  • 4 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl for preparing dressing and mixing salad
  • Knife for chopping tomatoes and cucumbers
  • Paper towels to pat cucumbers and tomatoes dry

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream and ranch seasoning.
  2. Prepare cucumbers by slicing or making into noodles. Drain excess water.
  3. Chop tomatoes and drain excess liquid. Pat dry if necessary.
  4. Add cucumbers and tomatoes to the dressing mixture. Stir until well coated.
  5. Top with crumbled bacon and serve immediately.

Notes

Use seedless cucumbers to avoid excess water. Drain and pat dry cucumbers and tomatoes with paper towels before mixing to prevent a watery salad. Best served immediately after preparing.
