Ingredients

  • 1 lb gnocchi (shelf-stable, refrigerated, or frozen; potato, cauliflower, or sweet potato)
  • 1-2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2-3 tbsp freshly grated parmesan

Equipment

  • air fryer for cooking gnocchi until crispy
  • Mixing bowl for tossing gnocchi with oil and spices
  • Tongs or spatula for shaking basket and serving

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F and lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray.
  2. In a large bowl, toss gnocchi with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parmesan. If using frozen gnocchi, do not thaw.
  3. Place gnocchi in the basket, avoiding overlap. Air fry at 390°F, shaking every 4-5 minutes, until golden and crispy. Shelf-stable/refrigerated: 11-14 minutes. Frozen: 13-16 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately. Garnish with extra parmesan and parsley. Serve as a snack, appetizer with dipping sauce, or salad topping.

Notes

✔️ Use homemade, frozen, or store-bought gnocchi.
✔️ Do not thaw frozen gnocchi before air frying.
✔️ For a vegan option, replace parmesan with nutritional yeast.
✔️ Best eaten fresh for crispiness — store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 4-6 minutes.
