Method
- Toss cucumbers with salt in a colander set over the sink or bowl. Let rest 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Rinse cucumbers, then press to remove excess moisture or pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk sour cream, everything bagel seasoning, vinegar, and black pepper to make the dressing.
- Combine cucumbers, dressing, and red onion. Add more salt and pepper to taste. Chill 30 minutes or serve immediately.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Not freezer-friendly due to sour cream. Peel and deseed cucumbers if preferred for a softer texture. Best served chilled to let flavors meld.
