Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15) or ground pork
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 14 oz shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp sriracha
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp sliced green onions

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or pork over medium heat until no longer pink. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Add shredded cabbage, soy sauce, and ground ginger. Sauté until the cabbage reaches your desired tenderness, adding a splash of water if needed.
  3. Make a well in the center of the skillet and crack in the egg. Scramble over low heat until cooked through.
  4. Stir in sriracha, drizzle with sesame oil, and sprinkle with sliced green onions. Adjust soy sauce and sriracha to taste.

Notes

Coconut aminos will give the dish a slightly sweet flavor. To portion, divide the pan into 4 equal servings or weigh and divide by 4. Weight will vary depending on meat type and brand.
