Ingredients

  • 8 frozen chicken tenders
  • 8 slider buns
  • 8 slices Mozzarella cheese, carved into 'teeth'
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 16 green olives stuffed with pimento

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Paring knife
  • Toothpicks
  • Saucepan
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Cook the chicken tenders according to package directions until fully cooked.
  2. Cut the mozzarella cheese slices into 'teeth' shapes using a paring knife.
  3. Skewer two pimento-stuffed green olives per slider with toothpicks to make monster eyes.
  4. Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
  5. Assemble the sliders: place 1 tbsp marinara on bottom bun, add chicken tender, top with more marinara (optional), then add mozzarella cheese with teeth facing forward. Place the top bun and secure with the olive eyes.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy these festive Halloween sliders!

Notes

✨ Variations: Try swapping marinara + mozzarella for BBQ sauce + cheddar, or buffalo sauce + blue cheese crumbles with jalapeños. Prep tips: carve cheese slices up to 3-4 days ahead, and assemble olive eyes in advance to save time before serving.
