Method
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or sprinkle with semolina or cornmeal.
- Divide dough into 10 equal portions (about 68 g each). Shape into small rounds and place on prepared baking sheets.
- Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each round and top with shredded mozzarella.
- For spiders, use olive halves for bodies and thin olive strips for legs. For skulls, carve small mushrooms with a paring knife and place on top of cheese.
- Bake for 7 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese melted. Remove and let cool slightly.
- Cut ghost shapes from cold mozzarella slices and place on warm pizzas with olive eyes. Cut pumpkin shapes and faces from orange cheddar and press onto warm pizzas to soften.
- Serve immediately, or let cool and refrigerate. Reheat in oven or air fryer as needed.
Notes
This recipe makes 10 mini pizzas (about 68 grams of dough each). You can also use the same amount of dough to make 4 personal-size pizzas or 2 medium pizzas instead.
Keep mozzarella and cheddar slices cold or frozen before cutting shapes to help them hold their form.
To reheat, warm in a 375°F oven or air fryer for 3–5 minutes until crispy again.
