  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage (turkey preferred)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups protein pancake mix (like Kodiak Cakes)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line 10 muffin pan slots with liners.
  2. Brown and crumble sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.

  4. Fold in pancake mix, cooked sausage, and shredded cheddar cheese to form the batter.
