Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte
1 to 1.5teaspoonsmatcha powderpreferably ceremonial grade
1/4cupwarm waternot boiling, ~160°F
3/4 to 1cupmilk of choicedairy, oat, almond, or coconut
1teaspoonvanilla extractor 1 tbsp vanilla syrup
1 to 2teaspoonssweetenerhoney, maple syrup, or monk fruit, optional

Instructions
Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl to remove clumps.
Add warm water and whisk using a bamboo whisk or frother until frothy.
Stir in vanilla extract and sweetener (if using) into the matcha mixture.
Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the milk of your choice.
Pour the matcha mixture over the milk and ice. Stir gently if desired, or enjoy layered.
Notes
For a floral twist, add 2–3 drops of lavender extract. To turn this into a protein shake, blend with vanilla protein powder and a frozen banana.
