Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Method
 

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the breakfast sausage until fully cooked. Drain the grease thoroughly and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the pancake mix according to the package directions by combining it with the water. Stir until smooth and combined.
  3. Fold in the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and maple syrup until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a mini muffin pan and fill each cavity about ¾ full with the mixture. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove the McGriddle Bites from the pan and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with extra maple syrup for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave or toaster oven.
