Ingredients
Method
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated garlic in a medium bowl until evenly combined.
- Add grated cheddar, zucchini, and chives to the dry mix. Drizzle honey and pour in the beer.
- Stir gently with a wooden spoon or spatula until just combined. A few lumps are fine; do not over-mix.
- Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan with butter. Transfer batter and brush melted butter generously on top.
- Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 55-70 minutes until the crust is deep golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing. Use a sharp knife to release edges and slice.
Notes
Perfect for soup season or as a savory snack. The bread rises using baking powder and beer carbonation, and keeping the zucchini wet ensures a tender crumb.
