Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mozzarella balls
  • 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 2 tbsp kalamata olives
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 2 oz prosciutto
  • 2 oz Genoa salami
  • 2 oz sopressata
  • 2 oz thinly sliced ham
  • Toothpicks

Equipment

  • Sharp knife for cutting indents in mozzarella
  • Toothpicks for skewering eyeballs
  • Cutting Board for slicing meats and garnishes

Method
 

  1. Using a sharp knife, cut a small indent in each mozzarella ball and set aside.
  2. Finely chop the sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives to create small pieces to fit into the indents, forming ‘eyeballs.’
  3. Slice the meats into 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips. Wrap mozzarella balls with meat slices.
  4. Skewer wrapped mozzarella balls on toothpicks and garnish with a tomato, olive, or caper ‘eyeball.’
  5. Chill before serving on your Halloween charcuterie board.

Notes
