  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup pink candy melts
  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles
  • optional toppings (crushed candy, conversation hearts, mini M&Ms)

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Spatula
  • Butter knife

Method

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and spread into an even layer about ¼-inch thick.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips and pink candy melts together in the microwave using the same method until smooth and pink.
  5. Drizzle the pink chocolate over the dark chocolate base in lines.
  6. Use a butter knife to gently swirl the chocolate, creating a marbled effect. Avoid over-swirling.
  7. Immediately sprinkle toppings over the chocolate while still wet.
  8. Refrigerate for about 45 minutes until fully set.
  9. Break into pieces and serve or package for gifting.

Notes

Work quickly once the chocolate is melted, as it sets fast. Avoid overheating chocolate to prevent seizing. This bark can be made up to one week in advance and stored airtight.
